watch the beautiful Homosassa River or you may choose to
explore thousands of acres of unspoiled wilderness and
miles and miles of crystal clear grassy flats, making
Homosassa one of the greatest fishing areas in the world.

diving, swimming, dining, golfing, or whatever your heart
desires. MacRae's offers free maps of the area upon
arrival and has a rental boat fleet for day or night use.

With miles of backcountry, crystal clear fish-filled waters,
Homosassa has an abundance of large
redfish
waiting to challenge the best of light tackle anglers.
These redfish are powerful and are famous for their never
tiring fighting ability.
The Tarpon fishing in May and June is the
world's best, with several fly rod records on the books.
Speckled trout remain one of the most sought after fish and is
available year round like the redfish. For offshore
anglers, arrangements can be made for grouper or cobia.
There are lots of other fish swimming in our gulf waters, such
as, shark, bluefish, king and Spanish mackerel and up river,
you have some of the best bass and bream fishing anywhere.

Inside your rental unit, whether a motel or
apartment, you will find modern
accommodations
with color TV, central air and heat and comfortable beds.
Your apartment comes fully furnished, including a living room
with queen-size pull-out sofa, a separate bedroom which
contains two double beds, and a complete kitchen with coffee
maker, toaster and plenty of pots, pans and dishes

We are located 80 miles west from Orlando and
60 miles north of Tampa on Florida's west coast. We are
directly located on the beautiful Homosassa River, a fishing
paradise with 3 Seafood restaurants within walking or swimming
distance.
Rates Available on Request.
We offer Hourly, 1/2 day and full day rentals
of 14 x 4 Landaus Jon Boats with 8 HP
engines and 3 gallons of fuel. We also rent 20 foot
Fiesta pontoon boats with 40 HP motors and 12 gallons of fuel.
All rental boats are Coast Guard Approved and are furnished
with; a map of the area, life jackets or cushions, ropes and
anchor, paddles and fuel. Our pontoon boats have bimini
tops for protection.
