Homosassa Redfishing this month!!

I enjoy meeting new people and I especially enjoy seeing old friends return year after year to renew friendships and enjoy the superb Florida flats fishing we have here in Homosassa.

I try to keep a regular log of what happens over the month while Homosassa Redfishing.  This is to let you know what is going on with the Florida Flats fishing in our area.

July 2006

Tarpon season was excellent this past season.  We managed to hook up 25 tarpon over the course of the season.  For those who wanted to land a Tarpon (4), we managed to oblige them.  The rest we broke off and all fish were released to enjoy another day.  Redfish schools have showed up on our flats and we are targeting them daily.  This is fast and furious fishing.  Both artificial and live bait is working.  I am booking up fast, so make your reservation soon.
